8 videos! What do they cover?

-Explore which art materials you truly need to get started vs. those that are shiny & glittery... but not necessarily essential.

-Talk about different options for different budgets.

-Learn how to care for these materials.

-Get access to DIY options!

-Practice the basic skills used in the three most commonly used Waldorf art methods:

* chalkboard drawing

-Hear about additional resources available to you, to help you dive deeper.

"This has been such a great set of videos! I was really surprised at the technique here, in particular about not drawing outlines, which is what most of us traditionally have been taught. It's amazing to see what comes from NOT doing that and I'm excited to try this out. Thanks again!"

We're including a special discount code...

On Day One of the course you will receive the code for a 10% discount from our friends at Bella Luna Toys. This code can be used to purchase any of the art materials you will need.

We're also including our beautiful e-book, Paint with Watercolor Pencils & Crayons, for free!

Frequently asked questions:

What does "self-paced" mean?

We created this course with your busy life in mind. Once you register, you can access our classroom over on Ruzuku whenever it is convenient for you! Forever! Brian & Robyn will check-in to answer questions every couple of days.

What materials will I need?

On the first day of the course we will go over the various options (& price ranges) that are available out there for stocking up on the materials you will need. We will explain what supplies are truly necessary, vs. what supplies are awesome, but that you can initially survive without. For this reason we are NOT providing a materials list ahead of time.

I am already familiar with the use of watercolor paint, block crayons & chalk. Is this the right course for me?

This course will be most useful for those who are new to the tools you mentioned. For those with previous experience and looking for advanced instruction, we recommend our other courses, which dive deeper into more advanced techniques.

Do I need a high-speed internet connection to view the course videos?

Yes, all videos are high quality, so you will need a fairly high-speed Internet connection to view them. The videos are a vital part of the content of this course, so please do consider this. We are not able to provide alternative viewing options for people on dial-up or on very slow connections (and we cannot give refunds if you are having issues viewing the videos due to your internet connection). Therefore, please bear this in mind when registering. If you have regular broadband, you should be fine.

"The teaching of any subject, from science to history, can be enlivened and enhanced by incorporating art into the instruction... Evidence from the brain sciences and evolutionary psychology increasingly suggests that the arts (along with language and math) play an important role in brain development and maintenance. ~Jack Petrash, Understanding Waldorf Education
